Born and raised in a suburb just outside of Chicago, Dominique was always an artist at heart. Ever since she could hold a pencil, she was drawing and doodling on paper. There is no doubt she inherited the creative gene from her mother, who was also very creative individual. All through school, Dominique excelled in art and decided to pursue it as a career choice. While going to college, she worked various jobs such as secretary, eye Dr. technician, and even interned at Chicago's alternative station Q101 in the promotions department. In 2002, she graduated with a B.A. in Art and Design from Columbia College Chicago. There she extensively studied many different forms of art as well as gained the proper knowledge needed to pursue her future career.
After college Dominique has worked hard in building quite the extensive portfolio which includes fine art, graphic design and photography. She built skullznfishnets.com a few years back to showcase her work as well as snfclothing.com, her own online clothing store. Dominique now works as a freelance graphic artist as well as works for the multi-platinum rock band Godsmack and front man Sully Erna. She is art director of their web sites as well as their official web mistress who manages all their online portals. You can say it's the perfect gig for someone who's biggest passions include art and music. You know what they say, it's never work when you love what you do for a living. What that being said, she is very blessed to have these opportunities and doesn't take anything granted.
Aside from art and music, one of Dominique's other passions is for animals. In her free time, she is an active a supporter of all animal rights. She will honestly say she loves animals more then most people and will never pass up a opportunity to help them. Whether it's giving to a organization like the ASPCA, signing petitions, stopping traffic to save a turtle in the road or feeding her various forest friends, she is always doing her part to help out.
Dominique has always and will always have a deep passion for art . As she grows, so will her creativity as well as her ever changing portfolio. Even if others try and pull her down, she will always continue to do what she loves and push ahead on to new future projects. Stay tuned, for her creative venture is far from over!
